Thankfully all this riding has been dry, however as you may see from the size of my chook strips, I haven’t genuinely been hooning round yet.
I’ve observed a few variations between those and the Michelin Pilot Power 3s I’ve just taken off. They’re distinct genres of tyre: the Michelin’s a sports activities tyre and the Pirellis are sports traveling, so it shouldn’t come as too much of a marvel that the Michelin’s are sportier. There’s now not so much of a distinction in real grip, it’s simply that the Pirelli’s aren’t as sharp, or as light steering.
But the Pirelli’s promise to be excellent within the wet and optimistically they’re going to remaining for my trip down via France, Portugal and Spain in a pair weeks. I’ll be driving them round Snetterton soon, as nicely. I’m going to assist fellow MCN-er, Andy Davidson along with his first ever trackday and the Hyperstrada could be the chase motorcycle.
