I've established the Suzuki Burgman 650 ABS Executive has a much longer tank range than it’s credited with.

Some reports have estimated it at 150 miles, probably because the fuel warning starts flashing at about 130. In fact you’ve got a bar left on the gauge and at least 40 miles in the tank at that point.

There’s a final warning, about 20 miles after the first, when that last bar starts flashing too. I’ve pushed it to 180 miles on a tank, including 15 after that final warning, without trying to ride economically.

I’m getting 57mpg. I think with a gentle throttle hand I could probably get 60mpg, and a tank range of 200 miles.
