My Bank Holiday was spent on two highly enjoyable spins on the Street - one with my mate Paul, who was gutted to learn that our local Ducati dealer no longer deals in Ducatis - and a cruise out to lunch with my girlfriend before the run into the office for a Monday evening shift. Different paces of ride, same fun result.

Two weeks in to ownership of the Street Triple R and I'm cementing the bond with the bike. I'm remembering the little joys of owning a Triumph, like the braided steel brake hoses and tyre valves mounted at 90 degrees to the wheel rims. I'm also remembering some of the niggles, like instrument menus that have the ability to tie me up in knots of misunderstanding.
